Information on Notches
Gauges, be it Septum or Earlobes, can really benefit from having Notches in the middle. This will help secure the piece so that they do not fall off.
Notches can also accentuate a piece. Take the Septum Pincher for example: simple, but memorable. Give it a little notch and it can really elevate its look.
Or how about the Tribal Tusk. Yes, on its own, it looks incredible, but add a little notch on the middle and it dawns a whole new persona.
Now let’s get practical with the Reverse Notch (We also sometimes call them Inverse Notches). We can add Reverse Notches in Septum Pieces, but they really shine when added to Hoops and Ear Weights because of how they are worn. On a Round Hoop, A Reverse Notch will really help secure the piece so that they don't slide around, or worse, fall off the wearer's earlobes.
